Gettin' Lush for Back to School My Way
For tops I'm really into sweaters and crewnecks, Knitwear is always lovely especially with a little graphic, And to make it even nicer you can wear a collard button up shirt or dress shirt under it, However for a collard shirt like this one it's really great looking on it's own, So this pair looks good together and on it's own! Sweater by Mishka, Button Up by Orisue.
Since it's still T-shirt weather we must use it well, For Back to School Tee's I'm into crazy patterns that look almost tribal or vintage, Make sure to match your pants or shorts with one of the colors in the pattern. T-shirts by Billionaire Boys Club & Ice Cream.
For the Back to School Denim I chose two skinnys, Now I DON'T like to wear super skinnys, I like them with a bit of slack so I usually get a size 30 or 31 and I'm 5.8. Color wise I like to have both a dark blue and a grey so you can be flexible and match with what your wearing, For people who like crazy pants I'd advise you to be careful, in my opinion bright colored denim and most coloured denim is hideous! And white denim is defiantly something I'm not a fan of. If you want something crazy go for a cool washed look, or a painted jean look or as strange as it sounds a rubber coated jean can look real fresh. All I'm saying is, Just please don't wear red, white, purple, pink, orange, yellow, or green jeans. Both Jeans by Cheap Monday.
For shades which are defiantly optional go for a Ray-Ban oriented model like this one, Just don't wear actual Ray-Bans, Like shutter shades that original model was over done and murdered. Glasses by Anon.
For accessories like bags and wallets upcycled materials are very hip, Freitag is one of the pioneers in this, So if you can please, please buy one, They are all uniquely different and soo good looking, Oh and of course there made out of old truck tarps and seat belts.Wallets may not matter to you. My Dad found this wallet in South Africa made out of a license plate and a tire, The artist also made journals and other upcycled products. Bag by Freitag, Wallet by Artist.
Last but not least shoes! Of course for school your probably going to want sneakers so that's what I'm rocking too, I love to "Pop" with shoes, That means you wear a bright colored shoe, Red blue, or Green, And sometimes orange or dark purple (nothing else!) And then your outfit is not vibrant colors so the shoes pop out. It looks good. Shoes Nike.
